Easy backpacking trip. Hike during the AT season to meet interesting people!
Great views, but the trail is pretty treacherous at times. Recommend for experienced hikers.
Any hiking trail coming off of the Blue Ridge Parkway is worth the effort.
Also if you go on a nice weekend expect to share the camp sites.
Hiked from the Blue Ridge Parkway at Reids Gap to Three Ridges. 4.4 miles each way, good mix of up and down.
